Anna Lattimore Interior Design, founded in 2003, delivers award-winning, sophisticated design that transforms spaces to embrace a home’s unique ethos and functionality. Each design begins as a true partnership, in which Anna considers how clients connect emotionally with their home and how they can make practical use of their space.

Throughout the project, Anna shares her joyful spirit, as she partners with a well curated team of independent craftspeople and subcontractors to help the process run smoothly. She has a knack for deciphering what a home needs and tapping into a client’s unique style, even those who may be unable to define their style themselves. By carefully considering how a room will be used and crafting stunning design that reflects her client’s taste, Anna turns a home into a livable, comfortable, welcoming work of art.

Lending an extraordinary eye for color, Anna inspires her clients to seek beautiful patterns and fabrics that layer modernity with classic pieces. She has a gift for honoring treasured antiques by incorporating heirlooms into a fresh, vibrant style; giving a wink to the historic era of the home or nod to a revered piece. The result is modern beauty that feels wrapped in the warmth of family.

DESIGN PRINCIPAL

Though her business officially began in 2003, Anna has been honing her eye for design since childhood, when she was dazzled by the way her yellow gingham curtains made the sunlight glow through her bedroom. Even while obtaining her master’s degrees, she found herself drawn to halls of the arts college, where she spent many hours in the studio as an undergrad. She eventually followed her heart for artistry and beauty and found her calling in interior design. Lauded by design magazines and blogs, praised by architects and builders, and, most notably, cherished by happy clients, Anna has proved to be one of the most distinguished designers in the field.

Prior to opening her interior design practice, Anna attended Southern Methodist University, earning a BA in Art History with a minor in Studio Design, as well as an MBA and MFA in Arts Administration. A native Memphian, Anna is an alumna of Hutchison School. She has one son and 2.5 cats who love the sunlight filtering in a well-designed room as much as she.

Lauren Carr

lead design project manager

Lauren joined Anna Lattimore Interior Design in 2022, after receiving praise for developing design projects for co-workers, friends and in her own home. Drawing from a background in marketing management, Lauren brings her eye for detail and organizational skills to the business, as well as her creativity, artistic sensibility and exquisite taste.

Previously, Lauren managed a multi-million-dollar advertising budget for an international sports company, and worked as an account manager at a prominent Memphis advertising agency. A graduate of Hutchison School, Lauren received a BA with a major in Art History and minor in English from Southern Methodist University. She enjoys spending time outside with her two daughters, her husband and her two wild min pins.
